The City of Portland’s Parks and Recreation Bureau works with immigrant and refugee communities in a big way. That’s why it’s no surprise that The City of Portland’s Immigrant of the Year, named last week, is Som Subedi, the Park Bureau’s Community Engagement Coordinator.
One of his biggest programs is The Parks for New Portlanders program.
