Tom Neely and Keenan Marshall Keller are superstars in the world of indie comics, separately responsible for such surreal horror, sci-fi, and punk-centric zines as Henry and Glenn Forever and Ever, Galactic Breakdown, The Wolf, and The Blot. They've now teamed up to write and draw their first major title — The Humans — for Image Comics.
Described as "a high-octane, no-holds-barred, ape-biker-gang chopper cruise back into '70s exploitation genre bliss," The Humans reads like an adults-only mashup of Planet of the Apes and the B-movies of Roger Corman and Russ Meyer, shot through with psychedelic action-adventure weirdness.
