Women of the True Vine: A Celebration of Women in Bluegrass Music

Celebrate International Women’s Day with a special edition of Music from the True Vine on KBOO Portland 90.7 fm. Hosted by Melissa, one half of the Banjo Sisters, Women from the True Vine: A Celebration of Women in Bluegrass Music shines a spotlight women in bluegrass music—from trailblazers who paved the way within the tradition to the artists carrying it forward today. 

This program will be part of KBOO's annual International Women's Day marathon, running from 12am on Saturday March 7th to 12am on Monday March 9th.
