Today's Radiozine features two episodes from Sprouts:

Episode 1:
Greg Mello of the Los Alamos Study Group speaks on the proposed expansion of Los Alamos National Labs (LANL) into a Plutonium Pit Factory. The 13 billion dollar plan doubles structures at LANL, upgrades existing buildings and adds 2 highways on the Santa Fe National Forest, crossing proposed wilderness areas with a new bridge across the Rio Grande, possibly the highest in the nation. The proposed plutonium pit factory, would replace long closed, accident prone Rocky Flats to produce 80 pits per year for a quarter trillion dollar new weapons system. Info: LASG.org

Episode 2:

The podcast entitled, Got Science, talks about today's farms being treated like factories. A scientific report reveals that cereal companies can make a positive impact on the environment (and profit) by supporting sustainable agriculture. At the end, a segment entitled, Sidelining Science, gives an alert to the need to protect wildlife from the Trump administration.
