Eric Bartels interviews Becky Clark, president of the Oregon Potters Association, the collective behind the 36th annual Ceramic Showcase, which opens Friday, April 27th at the Oregon Convention Center. The OPA says the three-day event, which features the work of over 150 local artists, some as edgy as others are traditional, is the largest of its kind in the nation.

Ceramic Showcase is joined by the Gathering of the Guilds: Creative Metal Arts Guild, Guild of Oregon Woodworkers, Oregon Glass Guild, Oregon Potters Association, Portland Bead Society and Portland Handweavers Guild.
