Jan Haaken talks with Abdul Fofanah and Issa Kamara about the politics of Kendrick Lamar's work as a hip-hop artist and the power of his music in the Black Lives Matter movement.  Fofanah is co-director of the documentary, "Moving to the Beat"--a documentary about hip-hop activism that follows a portland group as they journey to Freetown, Sierra Leone to talk about the use of hip-hop in working for social justice across cultural borders.
