An audio drama and dark comedy, with a flavor of Oregon

This is Episode 20 of The Spirit of the Forest, an audio drama and dark comedy that reflects upon the sadness, the absurdity, and normalcy of modern life.  Each episode is a blend of fiction and reality, and is recorded in various locations throughout Oregon.

On this episode, we open with a walk through the snow on a mountain road near the Cougar Dam and Terwilliger Hot Springs, and consider the winter season and the pleasantly absent Xmas holiday that didn't seem all that invasive this year. A short interview with a woman named China follows, and then we catch up with our favorite bickering couple, Ron and Peter (episode 1, 13), as they continue their perpetual, ongoing hate-fest on one another.  We conclude with professional singer and vocal coach Markus Beewahl and his visit to Corvallis Community Radio.  Here, he faces amateur sound engineering and all-around awkwardness in trying to hawk his 20 hour cassette tape series on breaking into the music industry, before the station announcer cuts him off.

Featuring the musical contributions of Raison d'etre, Yen Pox, Rico Recklezz, and Dan Crall, and the vocal acting talent of Trevor Heald, MaryLeigh Burke, Cheyne Willems, John Knight, and Dan Crall, this episode was recorded and produced in December of 2015.
