Strike! East County Teachers
1,300 school teachers, represented by the Oregon Education Association (OEA) in the Parkrose, Gresham-Barlow and Reynolds school districts, may go on strike, some as early as this Wednesday, if their school boards continue down their current path -- the implementation of severe attacks on teachers’ benefits and working conditions.
