Last night, Jimmy Kimmel returned to ABC with an emotional opening that as the LA Times reported:
Kimmel also said his ability to speak freely is “something I’m embarrassed to say I took for granted until they pulled my friend Stephen [Colbert] off the air and tried to coerce the affiliates who run our show in the cities that you live in to take my show off the air.”
“That’s not legal,” he continued. “That’s not American. That is un-American.”
In political terms, the "Red Scare" refers to periods of heightened fear of communism in the U.S., while the term "Blue Scare" is the weaponization of anti-leftist panic against political opponents. Have Americans signaled they are not falling for it?
