Starting today, a three part presentation of a 2010 BBC Radio 4 adaptation of Ian Fleming's popular 1959 spy novel Goldfinger.  Lt. Commander James Bond, Toby Stephens, is assigned to look into the activities of a wealthy gold dealer, Auric Goldfinger,  Sir Ian McKellan. Whose is suspected of secretly raising money for the Soviet spy agency SMERSH. Also lots of music from Charles Lloyd, Andrea Motis, Lou Donaldson, Roy Hines, Ray Manzerak, Anita O'Day, Esperanza Spalding, Bob Welsh, Roland Kirk, Tommy Flannigan and more.
