On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea start by talking about a new feature Facebook is testing out, where the site will ask you if your friend has become extremist, or warn you if you've seen extremist content recently. Suffice it to say that we don't love that, nor is it really credible for Facebook trying to "help" people away from extremism when their negligence is what created the problem in the first place! You can't be the poison and the antidote.

Then, we talk about the ban on LEGAL and ILLEGAL fireworks in effect this holiday weekend. What can folks do to celebrate instead? Our callers suggest a myriad of solutions including, LED strobe lights, singing Katy Perry's Firework in the streets, and breaking out the water guns instead.
