No new program this week due to technical difficulties with Fortunato's computer So, will represent a recent presentation of the the radio adaptation of Preston Sturges' great romantic comedy The Lady Eve, with Barbara Stanwyck and Ray Milland. A woman con artist sets off to get revenge on being scorned by the wealthy young heir to a brewing fortune by masquerading as a different woman and getting to young man to fall in love with this made up person. Considered one of the great screw ball romantic comedies produced in Hollywood. Also an episode of Suspense, "Hey, man. Won't somebody dig me?" A beat poet is mistaken for a hatch murderer while hitchhiking through the desert.
