The annual meeting of KBOO’s membership is your opportunity to vote in the 2024 Board of Directors Election.
KBOO is unique in that the Board of Directors is elected by its members. Every KBOO member gets to vote. Any KBOO member can apply to be on the Board of Directors.
Directors serve a 3-year term. There are 12 board seats. Each year 4 seats turn over as directors complete their terms. Each year, there are 4 candidates for election. The candidates provide statements about why they want to serve on KBOO’s board of directors and the skills and experience they plan to share with KBOO.
KBOO Directors are important not only for governance of the Foundation but also for community engagement and networking, for supporting local culture, for developing skills - in themselves and others, and for amplifying the voices of the underserved.
