Women's March organizer Margaret Jacobsen

The Women's March happening here in Portland on January 21st has undergone some major leadership change over the last week, most notably that the march is now being lead by a woman of color from Portland. Before the leadership change, march organizers had come under heavy criticism for censoring discussion and for a lack of inclusivity. Margaret Jacobsen, the Women's March's new leader, spoke with us live in Studio 2 to talk about what the change over means for the march; womanism vs feminism; the white feminism of Portland; and why it's ok to have uncomfortable conversations around race, gender, and identity.
