Foreclosure Mediation, a new law in Oregon
As of July 11th, Oregon has a law mandating mortgage lenders to mediate "workout options" with homeowners before foreclosing on their home. Angela Martin, director of Economic Fairness Oregon; Keith Dubanevich, Oregon's Associate Attorney General; and Carlos Garcia, housing counselor with Hacienda CDC explain how "at risk" homeowners can take advantage of the new law.
