How proposed oil terminals would threaten the Quinault way of life.
Desiree Hellegers interviews Quinault fisherman Junior Goodell about the battle to stop the construction of two oil export terminals slated for Grays Harbor, WA.  A hearing on the draft environmental impact statement on the terminals will be held later in July, with more information on dates and bus transportation to the hearings available here.  Goodell's op ed piece entitled "Grays Harbor oil terminal would threaten Quinault Indian identity"  appeared in the June 1 edition of the Seattle Times.

A year later, I found Desiree Hellegers' segment on today's Old Mole Variety Hour (7-11-16) most useful and newsworthy. The interviews with Quinault and other Grays Harbor, WA tribal enviro activists should be more accessible to U.S. especially down here in NW Ore.

Audio archives on public affairs programs used to be kept accessible to public without time limits (unlike the music programming bound by copyrights). Is this program from a year ago available\accessible archived as a downloadable audio file for journalistic reference somewhere other than the new KBOO web-site?

On the old KBOO web-site the audio links were readily available and easy to use. Thanks all and keep on doing.
Appreciatively,
Mitchito
