CALLING ALL CREATIVE TYPES –The Rose Festival is now recruiting for its third class of Character Clowns, and you might be a perfect candidate for this zany assignment!  Apply and audition for the 2010 Character Clown Corps!  Participants will train and perform with an avant-garde clown professional Angel Ocasio, receive a makeup kit and costume, and develop their own clown character.  Go to rosefestival.org to download the application as well as the mandatory workshop schedule in April.  Hurry, applications are due Monday, March 1.  http://rosefestival.org/events/clowncorps/

Help a senior move into their new place.  REACH Community Development is seeking able-bodied volunteers to help residents unpack and put away belongings after moving into their new units. There will be at least 2 volunteers working together at a time, with staff in the building. Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals has an opportunity to sit at tabling events at dog parks, community fairs, and other fun ventures, and needs volunteers to sit at these tables and hand out information along with fun pet toys!
