Bridget B. hosted the January 9, 2009 segment of Bread & Roses.  She interviewed two local women writers, Anjala Ehelebe author of Images of America: Portland's Woodlawn Neighborhood and Jewel Lansing author of My Montana: A History and Memoir - 1930-1950.  Anjala took us through a historic accounting of the Woodlawn neighborhood while Jewel shared with us what life was like growing up in rural Montana.  Both women are true "Keepers of History" and during this segment of Bread & Roses, you’ll hear the process each one went through in writing and publishing their work along with a live reading.

Turn up your volume and enjoy another another segment of Bread & Roses as hosted by Bridget B. You can always listen to KBOO online at http://www.kboo.fm/.

 Cheers ~ Bridget B.
