Private First Class James Burmeister of Eugene Oregon is currently Locked in a military prison in Kentucky for refusing to return to Iraq. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office">

  Burmeister suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  He was classified by the military as AWOL  -- Absent Without Leave -- while seeking asylum in Canada.

For this and his refusal to return to Iraq, he faces a court martial.
