Looking somewhere fun to take the kids this weekend?  Experience 1920’s farm life at the Pomeroy Living History Farm at “Children’s Weekend”, September 5th and 6th.  The Farm is a non-profit educational museum depicting 1920's farm life in Southwest Washington state. Over twenty-five staff and volunteers  dress in period costume and utilize living history as an interpretive technique to provide many hands on experiences for guests.  Visiting children will be issued a “Passport to the Past” and collect stamps as they explore the farm.  Participate in the many activities such as hayrides, churning butter, grinding coffee and gain, feeding the animals.  Traditional live Americana music will be played throughout the weekend.  More information at http://pomeroyfarm.org or call 360-686-3537.
