If you're looking to  improve your tech skills or just get more comfortable with computers, look to the Multnomah County Public Library 's  TechnoHosts.  These volunteers help you search the web, play educational CD-ROM games, and look up materials with the library's online catalog. Use the library's online databases and guides, and practice basic computer skills. Tomorrow afternoon from 1 to 3 pm the library's Hillsdale Branch , located at 1525 SW Sunset Blvd in Portland.

Food Not Bombs puts Portland's wasted food to good use by serving hot vegan meals to the community. Tomorrow, Saturday, they'll be serving downtown at the Riot Elephant at West Burnside and Park. New volunteers are always welcome.
