The first ever national study of day labor worker centers found abuses of workers rights to be BUSINESS as usual for most day laborers.

The director of the national day laborers organizing network was joined by the director of the center of urban studies from the university of illinois to present the findings of the study here in portland.

 The presentation was timed in  support  of the opening of portland’s own day labor hire site which  has been pushed back until june 16^th
