Rios said they are going to wait and see if the mayor follows thru with his promises.

In other business, City Commissioner and candidate for mayor Sam Adams cancelled the reuse of the Sauvie Island Bridge as a bicycle bridge over I-405. Adams’ Chief of Staff Tom Miller later explained that despite the rise in gasoline prices, the amount of money the city receives is going down.

Miller went on to say that a bicycle bridge over I-405 is still desired, but will now be considered along with other projects.
