Today is the last day to apply for the Community Working Group of the SE 122nd Avenue Pilot Study, conducted by The City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. This Portland Plan pilot study explores opportunities to create a more healthy, sustainable, and viable “20-minute neighborhood” along SE 122nd Avenue.

The project, currently underway, is forming a Community Working Group (CWG) composed of representatives of affected neighborhood and business associations, representatives of the diverse interests in the community, and other at-large members. The CWG is expected to meet up to once a month to share information, act as liaisons to other community interests, and serve as a sounding board for project staff as the study proceeds.

Recruitment for the CWG began in July 2009 - the deadline for applications has been extended to October 15, 2009. The application is available on the portlandonline DOT com web site. Please contact project staff Barry Manning or Julia Gisler for more information or with questions at 503-823-7700 ( se122study@ci.portland.or.us.Web link: www.portlandonline.com/bps/se122study. )
