One of Portland’s well-known rabble rousers, Joe Walsh, the “Lone Vet” has announced his candidacy for US Congress.Walsh is running for Congress as a Democrat in District 3, the position currently held by Earl Blumenauer.Joe Walsh is part of a weekly protest held in front of Blumenauer’s office, calling for impeachment of Bush and Cheney for war crimes.KBOO spoke with Walsh about his bid for congress

 That was the “Lone Vet” Joe Walsh, who has announced his candidacy for US Congress in Portland’s third District.

Also running for the District 3 seat are incumbent Earl Blumenauer  and Land Management Consultant  John Sweeney, on the democratic ticket.

For the Republicans,  Real Estate Investor Delia Lopez is running against John Olmsted.
