  • Bill Resnick talks Jason Kafoury a leader in the Portland group, Honest-elections.com who are promoting the virtues of Multnomah County Ballot Initiative 26-184 that sets strict donation limits for Multnomah County elections. They will also discuss event with Ralph Nader, Getting Money Out of Politics, at the First Unitarian Church, this coming Saturday, 7-9pm, $3 minimum no one turned away.
  • Book Mole Larry Bowlden Reviews The 2012 Novel The Light Between Oceans by author M.L. Stedman. Stedman’s debut novel Is an Australian War fiction.   • Bill Resnick returns to talk with Walt McRee of the Public Banking Institute and David Delk of Portland  based group The Public Banking Alliance. Walt will be speaking Thursday at the First Unitarian, 7-9pm, $5 minimum but no one turned away. The talk is "Affording the Portland We Want."  And the growing movement for public banking and investing in what we need, like affordable housing, local renewable energy and energy conservation, transit improvements.
  • Clayton Morgareidge reads from the CJ werleman article Homegrown Terrorism is Rooted in US Actions, Not Islam. Just Ask the FBI.“Like climate change, the debate surrounding radicalization is over.
