Ali Sharif on Permaculture in Latin America and Africa

We speak with Ali Sharif, founder of IPERMO, an organization promoting permaculture in Mozambique. Ali Sharif, has 30 years of field experience in 6 countries.  After taking his Permaculture Design course in the USA in 1984, Bill Mollison, the "father of permaculture", instructed Ali Sharif to take permaculture to Latin America.  Ali established the iconic organization PAL – Permacultura America Latina - which became the first legally registered Permaculture NGO in the USA, and in turn introduced the permaculture concept to US foundations and philanthropists.
