Celebrating the Labor Movement In Song
Anyone who is familiar with the struggles of Labor, knows that song is an integral part of the battle. On Movin' On, Friday, September 9th, 12 noon to 1:30pm, I will be presenting music for and about the Labor Movement. Pete Seeger, John McCutcheon, Utah Phillips, Si Kahn and Magpie are just some of the artists that will be featured. As a thank you gift for your contribution, there are a limited number of the new 2 CD album by activist Joan Baez that will be available. Tune in Friday, September 9th, 12 noon to 1:30, only on KBOO.
