re: pivotal point of Birch society era and movement away from social programs = great point! also in political discourse, is the consumer innocent, the unions left out recruitment of retirement home workers, the focus seems concentrated on 1%, the leaders, but cars are *infinitely* changed for consumer tastes vs. early VW beetle continuity of design theory
