This coverage of the rail disaster is great. I loved the interview with Hood River News. Coverage of the meeting was good. I feel like this is quite a chunk of time to spend on the wreck, considering it happened last week. 20 minutes! Love Quaker peace activists, however I know that the Golden Rule was covered last week in the morning during public affairs. This sounds like a history lesson or human interest piece and not news. Now they are talking about sailing with friends. This segment is almost 10 minutes long. wow not news. The guest,Condon just thanked the "news" department for the promotion. Interesting. Oh and now we have Paul Cinfuegos talking about a train derailment that happened LAST WEEK. So much for national news. I actually like his report about what happened. I don't listen to KBOO to have a report read the Oregonian to me. That is what is occurring right now. Paul Cienfuegos is reading from the Oregonian, on KBOO. And now he is giving straight commentary during the news hour not only that but he is regurgitating the same thing that was said earlier.
