Hosts Cecil Prescod and Celeste Carey speak with nuclear expert Dr. Helen Caldicott, who will deliver the keynote address at Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility's Annual Awards Dinner on March 31st. Dr. Caldicott has been called “the single most articulate and passionate advocate of citizen action to remedy the nuclear and environmental crisis,” and she will share ideas from her nearly four decades of work as a leading voice on the medical hazards of the nuclear age. Dr. Caldicott will be interviewed in the first half of the show. A representative of PSR will also be interviewed.
