Local Poet, Sage Cohen

Bread and Roses welcomes local poet, Sage Cohen.

I considered my divorce—and now co-parenting, my spiritual practice.

Sage will share poems from her upcoming collection, How to Leave Your Husband, and discuss her new project, Radical Divorce, a blog and six-week online course to help mothers move through divorce with intention and integrity, and rebuild their lives and families.

Sage Cohen has been writing poems for more than thirty years.  She is the author of the collection, Like the Heart, the World, and the Writer's Digest writing guides: Writing the Life Poetic:  An Invitation to Read & Write Poetry and The Productive Writer.

Sage is also a teacher who "takes poetry from its academic pedestal and puts it back into the hands of the people".
