Wed, 07/27/2011 Members of legendary experimental band SMEGMA, now calling themselves Dr. Amazon, hit the KBOO studios sometime after midnight on Friday, July 15th for a sprawling sound feast that just about filled up The Outside World. Host daniel talks with the band, notably original Smegman Mike Lastra, about their history, the 70s in Pasadena, KPPC, The Firesign Theatre, The LA Free Music Society, etc. We probably talked too much, actually. too much fun, that guy. we will probably have him back soon, pick up where we left off..
