Protest against Trident nuclear submarine
On Saturday April 21, a Trident nuclear submarine surfaced off the Washington coast near the Indian Island Naval base, two miles from Port Townsend.
Protesters gathered just outside the base to protest the arrival of the submarine. Two were arrested in acts of civil disobedience. KBOO’s Crystal Leighty spoke to one of those arrested, Liz Rivera Goldstein.
