Talking Earth presents local poet Casey Bush reading posthumous poetry by Marty Christensen.
On Monday, March 18th, Talking Earth will feature Casey Bush channelling the surrealistic voice of Marty Christensen (1942-2012). Casey will read from his own work as well as Marty's posthumous collection "Are Nightmares Prose or Poetry?" Casey Bush is a long time Portland Poet and currently a Senior Editor of The Bear Deluxe, the Northwest's finest environmental arts magazine. Since the 1970s both Marty Christensen and Casey Bush participated in the open mike poetry scene in Portland that took them from the Long Goodbye and the Mediterranean Tavern to the punk rock temple Satyricon and the legendary Cafe Lena. Patrick Bocarde hosts.
