Jan Haaken on her film "Mindzone" and Scott Silber on Ending the Corporate Addiction to Power

Filmmaker and clinical psychologist Jan Haaken discusses her film Mindzone:Therapists Behind the Front Lines, which launches Rethinking Psychiatry's Annual Film Festival on February 21st. The film follows a combat stress control unit to Afghanistan where therapists carry out their conflicting missions of both preventing psychiatric casualties and maintaining the fighting forces.

And later this hour we'll hear from Scott Silber on corporate personhood. Scott Silber serves as lead faculty at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development's Youth Organizing Institute. He is the Executive Director of National Intervention, a group calling for publicly funded elections and the end of corporate personhood. He is a human rights and environmental organizer and the former Director of Colorado's Public Workers' Union.

Scott Silber speaks at the First Unitarian Church this Sunday, Feb. 17th, at 7 pm on "Threat to Themselves and Others: Intervention on the Corporate Addiction to Power."
