Oregon Humanities seeks scholars, artists, community leaders, innovators, and engaged thinkers who, regardless of their day job, are teachers at heart, willing to step out from behind the podium and lead active conversations in communities across Oregon – and is looking for people who can embrace the state as their classroom, meeting hall, and town square, and who want to help Oregonians think broadly, ask questions, and talk with each other about important topics in the humanities. Conversation Project leaders may have formal academic backgrounds in the humanities disciplines, or they may have developed expertise through professional training, experience, or immersion in a cultural tradition.
