Portland Bus and transportation issues
Well, I am a school bus driver and thank you for mentioning that! Actually, we have to have a class B commercial drivers license, a certificate from the State of Oregon Dept. of Education, a medical exam yearly over 55 years, a cpr rating and recurrent training and 8 hours of safety training a year and a lot of common sense, defensive driving education etc. The thing about buses like the train is they put people together. The car separates people. Tri-met is raising fares and cutting services. There is a rally tomorrow at SW 4th and Main more info can be had at http://www.opalpdx.org
