Out Loud on 07/20/10
Tune in to KBOO's queer hour to hear from individuals working toward making an impact on our communities.
Life can be difficult for any young person, but there are added challenges for lesbian, bisexual, gay, trans and queer youth in rural Oregon. Tonight we talk to The Living Room, the queer youth drop-in center in Clackamas County. This program is part of the Oregon Safe Schools and Communities Coalition.
Next, we'll talk to Basic Rights Oregon about their Marriage Matters campaign, working toward marriage equality for everyone.
You'll also hear community announcements, news stories and other updates from the rainbow spectrum. If you have news or announcements you'd like to share with our listeners, send details to OutLoudRadio@gmail.com
If you network on Facebook, find Out Loud Radio there too.
Until next time, stay proud and live out loud!
And thanks for listening.....
