Movin' On on 02/03/12

Alice Dimicele live on KBOO today! "Alice's music has that great combination of earthiness and groove that keeps it funky from the inside out. She's for real." --Bonnie Raitt. I first met Alice and heard her stirring vocals in the 1980s at a Cathedral Forest action group gathering in the forest outside Estacada.  She and her trio are performing a concert tonight and video shoot at the Alberta Rose Theater.

I'll also be talking about Winterfolk, which is tomorrow night at the Aladdin Theater in SE Portland. We'll have tickets to both shows as thank you gifts when you become a member or renew to KBOO during today's show!
