Dear Listeners,

Did you catch the lyrics to David Wilcox's song and story:  Start With the Ending?  Cute, eh??  Good advice, too...

I enjoyed bringing you some fun music this morning--including a "radio" set, a "coffee" set, a couple of "rain" songs, and a tribute to roses, honoring our beautiful, albeit soggy, city of Portland!

Yours,

Diane

Sisters Folk Festival Lineup

Hi Diane:

I was admiring your play list for today's show. Chris Kokesh will be performing at the Sisters

Folk Festival which will be held September 10, 11 &12 in downtown Sisters, this year's Festival will celebrate 15 years of world class music in Sisters Country. This year’s performers bring an amazing array of musical talent and diversity to the stage. Artists include legendary bluesman John Hammond, Texas troubadour Ray Wylie Hubbard, the bluegrass, Western swing, and ragtime sounds of Hot Club of Cowtown, dynamic bluesy soul of Geoff Muldaur & Jim Kweskin, Celtic sensation Solas, Americana songwriter Slaid Cleaves, prolific Welsh lyricist and musician Martyn Joseph, the multi-instrumental and genre-bending Canadian group, Po' Girl, and our encore performer Ellis. For a complete list of performers go to the “Performers" page on the Web site http://www.sistersfolkfestival.org/sff.php?index=0&call=performers

Robyn Shanti receives a press pass for the Festival. Let me know if you'd like one and we'll have it for you at Will Call. Also, anyway we can get more artist coverage would be great. Let me know how we can work together!
