Balkan and Slavic Music on Lark in the Morning!
Join us Friday, April 15th, for a special program of Balkan and Slavic music on Lark in the Morning from 5:30 am to 7am! We'll be hearing a variety of styles, including the famous dissonance of Bulgarian music and the lively, odd-metered rhythms of Balkan dance. In addition to regular host Kurt Liebezeit, the program will feature Jon Pfaff of Seattle as co-host; Jon attended the 10th National Festival of Bulgarian Folklore in Koprivshtitsa, Bulgaria last year, and came back with interesting music and contacts.
