Future of Indian Country

Geronimo's cadillac
The last time I found this show (Indian World/Country), one of the woman hosts identified the performers of a version of Geronimo's Cadillac (a song) as Modern Talking. I believe that is incorrect. The only song on Youtube with that name by the group Modern Talking is nothing at all like the song I've heard for many years. Different lyrics and tecno/electronica. I've found other interesting versions of the song. One by the writer, Michael Martin Murphy and another by Bill Miller, an Indian who sings it while wearing his regalia.
The version I heard that afternoon just a few weeks ago was the version I'm used to. I think it is the "best" version. Lush, "popish" arrangement yet striking. Cannot find it. Not by Hoyt Axton, though I thought that might be it. Also a version by Cher.
Somebody at KBOO has my answer. Please and I thank you. I realize not everything is on Youtube.

Dave, sorry to be so tardy with an answer. I can't find the album I played. It was a live performance by Michael Martin Murphy and I think the name of the album is Sagebrush Serenade. He does have another version that I do not like as well.
