Danbert will be reading from his latest book Three Dead Princes available now on Exterminating Angel Press. If its a real good jive then you'll get some performance too! This fellow has lived a real digable and we'll be going in to the program without a net, so we can hope for some good spontaneous conversation from this program. Mr. Nobacon is most known for the 25 year old politically dangerous indie band, Chumbawamba, and if you were of my generation living in the suburbs you were inundated with Tubthumping. But if all goes well, we'll all get to know someone with a fascinating history of near-mythic status and enjoy some passages from his new book.
Danbert happens to be in town reading at Powell's Books Hawthorne, also Monday night at 7pm

<p>It was nice to hear Danbert play stuff from his laptop and talk about what he was playing. Plus, his readings were great! I need to get a copy of that book, as I'm also an Alex Cox fan.</p>
