Anthony Thomas Schatz is the product of Sacramento pop and rock, notably for the rock band, Birthday, that enjoyed time in London while recording an album for Warner Bros. Records, only to disband due to inner frustrations. Tony would not be a label puppet.

In the last 7 years, Schatz has spent most of his creativity in projects that benefit a community of players. He produced two stage productions written for developmentally disabled adults, entitled "Flash! Make It Count" and "Rainbow Kittens with Wings," and organizes the spin off street performance band, Rainbow and the Kittens. And in the past 2 years, he has prolifically joined start up bands, such as Mega Church, Mr. Frederick, Everybody, and Death Worth Living. The range and scope of the music within these groups being notably eclectic.

But on Tonight's episode of Un-herd, Tony will perform the music that pours directly out of his heart. Largely comprised of improvised sections of pop based riffage drenched in delay and loops, his voice sings to you like you're humming while standing on a busy street corner.
