Approve 71 Washington

Thank you, Carla, for helping us get out the word for Approve71.org, the mail-in ballot to affirm Washington state's domestic partnership law. In 2009 the legislature passed SB 5688 which expanded the rights of registered domestic partners, including both seniors and unmarried same-sex couples. With over 6,000 registered domestic partners in Washington, this law is important to over 12,000 people and their families.

Because this is a mail-in ballot, it is crucial that folks get their votes in right away, and then look at other simple ways to support Referendum 71 before November 3rd.
