Interviews with Dennis Theriault, News Editor of the Mercury, and Julia Degraw, Oregon Right to KNow
The Portland Mercury, along with the Willamette Week and the Oregonian, took a position against Measure 92, the ballot measure which would require labeling of genetically modified foods.  On Monday, Oct. 27, KBOO's Paul Roland spoke with Dennis Theriault, News Editor of the Portland Mercury about his paper's position, as well as Julia Degraw, of Oregon Right to Know and Food and Water Watch. These are longer, lightly edited versions of the interviews which aired on the KBOO Evening News. First is Theriault, then Degraw.
