Ani and Lyn host an action-packed program all about advancing world peace, with Medea Benjamin, Mike Caruso, and Al Jubitz.
From 8 - 8:30 am, guests were two local organizers of the Rotary Conference. Al Jubitz is a co-sponsor of the conference, entitled "Peace is Possible, One Community At a Time". A local business man, his family's foundation supports the War Prevention Initiative. Mike Caruso is the current District Govenor for the Rotary, and is the main organizer for the "Peace is Possible" conference. The conference included Nobel Peace Laureate Jodi Williams; Admiral Eric Olsen (retired), Ambassador John MacDonald.
8:30 - 9 am, Ani and Lyn spoke with Medea Benjamin, the co-founder of Global Exchange, and Code Pink. Medea will be appearing in Oregon next week, to talk with people about the horrors of drone warfare, and what we can do to stop it.
