Out Loud on Tues March 6

Tonight we feature local change agents working on making impacts in our larger communities.

Before we welcomed our first guest, we took a music break with 'Una Mujer' from Renee Muzquiz's CD "Gay in Texas". This music was featured in 'Bunkin' with You in the Afterlife', the musical produced by BroadArts Theatre. The final run of this performance is this weekend at Interstate Firehouse Community Center on Friday March 9 and Saturday March 10.

Our first guest was Ty Stober, Board Chair for Washington United for Marriage, and we discussed that special something that happened in WA state recently. Ty invited listeners to participate in upcoming Town Hall discussions regarding marriage equality, hosted by Equal Rights Washington.

Music break from Glitterfruit, playing 'Gay Country Song'. Glitterfruit will perform with Lynx and Tender Forever on Friday March 16th at Lewis & Clark College's Agnes Flanagan Chapel, as part of the Gender Symposium.

Dayna Morrison, coordinator for the LGBTQ Health Coalition, joins us to discuss the Meaningful Care Conference happening on Friday March 30th in Portland.

Music break from Glitterfruit, playing 'Yelling in the Dark'.

Next we welcome Paige, a student at Lewis & Clark college, to discuss the upcoming Gender Studies Symposium, a free event that welcomes the public and is happening Wed March 14 through Friday March 16th.

We wrap up the show with a new special guest segment featuring Fag & Hag. Fag & Hag dish on local events & encourage you to support local music & arts communities.
