House Pass Health Care Reform
The Oregon House passed a bill yesterday authorizing the creation of Coordinated Care Organizations, or C-C-O-’s, to better serve Medicaid recipients on the Oregon Health Plan.
The coordinated care approach will focus on preventive and primary care and, by reducing costly hospital stays, is expected to save two hundred and forty millions dollars next year.
For one of the seven no votes, KBOO’s Joe Meyer spoke with State Representative Vicki Berger.
